quiet on the set...

My boss came out of the back room today to find me standing at the cash with my ear pressed firmly against the desk. He walked across the store, and stood right next to me as i smiled.

With a puzzled look on his face he quickly asked, "WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD ARE YOU DOING DELANEY?!?". He had a puzzled look on his face.

I stood up straight and said, "The desk sounds funny!"

It wouldnt be a stretch to imagine exactly how confused he was by my answer.

I walked to the back of the store to complete the work I had started earlier. I looked up to the cash and smiled. My boss was standing in the spot I had just left and his ear was pressed to the desk.
